Garbutt St in the 1930′s

I am researching my family history and know my grandfather had the Coop butcher’s shop in the 1930′s, I do have a couple of photo’s which are not of very good quality but am willing to share them if anyone is interested.

I would like to see any other pictures of Garbutt St around the same period, my mother recalls a house next to the butcher’s as number 11, and tells me there were some outbuildings and a yard where slaughtering took place.

My grandfather Henry Hector Kennedy died aged 26 while living in Shildon and is buried in St John’s graveyard, as the headstones have been moved the true location is not known to me.

Any help with these queries would be appreciated.
